The RETRO TRIPPER has a short, wide design and glides very well. It was designed and developed based on the desire for a board with active, athletic performance like a fish, yet with confident control, so that it can be enjoyed anytime, anywhere, in any wave. We developed the RETRO TRIPPER so that it can be enjoyed whether paddling out at a morning beach break on a trip with punchy, powerful waves, lining up at a close, pumpy point break, or even at your usual mellow surf break.
It has a wide beaked nose, a winged pintail, a mellow retro rocker, and a flat deck. The unique steep downward rails allow the thick board with a flat deck to move easily.
For the RETRO TRIPPER, please set up twin + 1 fin.
It excels in good, powerful, deep, fast and large waves, but the range of waves it is actually used in is wide.
I would recommend this board as a board for everyday surfing.
