Introducing The Halligan—a surfers multitool designed to excel in medium to large-sized, weaker waves. This is the most performance oriented shortboard we make. This high-performance shortboard features a user friendly outline, with the wide point positioned higher to encourage surfing off the back half of the board. The wider squash tail maintains area in the tail, providing lift and drive, and enhances pop for aerial maneuvers. A subtle hip near the front fins introduces a pivot point, facilitating tighter turns and easier release.

The Halligan stands out from our other shortboard models with its unique rocker and bottom contour. Its bottom concaves delivers consistent speed and effortless glide from takeoff through flat sections, even in smaller, weaker waves. We’ve incorporated a single-to-double concave through the back of the board, transitioning into a pronounced double concave with a deep vee through the fins and off the tail. The Halligan boasts the largest rocker in the STCo shortboard lineup, this combination of contours and perfect amount of rocker provides smooth rail-to-rail transitions, while the vee tail enhances vertical surfing and tight, snappy carves—even in mushy, subpar conditions.
